Guess what everyone! I got my first hole in one! Just today I played golf on one of the St Andrews courses and it came around to the 8th hole I punched a wedge and it trickled into the hole!
After some yelling and screaming my playing partner and friend Nick were jumping around like mad rabbits. Everyone on the course were looking at us. I'm going to frame the score card and have kept the ball I used. So that's my hole in one.
Anyway, last weekend was a really good one weather wise. On Saturday Candice and I decided to go for a drive and it took us to a wee little fruit farm just out side of Cupar. There we found it was pick your own strawberries and raspberries! By the time we went to go and pay for what we had picked I had already eaten all the strawberries. So that was a fun afternoon. After that we went around to a friends house for a BBQ. They don't have gas BBQ's over here. They are all coal. But the meat that was cooked still tasted just as good as any.
Besides golf and Candice finding a job as a receptionist that has pretty much been my week. It's my birthday in two weeks and we're going to Edinburgh and the Edinburgh festival is on too so I'm sure I'll have plenty to write about.
Candice and I are currently looking at a Contiki tour to do after my time in Scotland and then looks like I"m heading to Royal Melbourne if everything works out.
